The Heart Behind the Rebrand
2025 marked a transformative year for SpiritAbility. After years of dedication and determination, we achieved one of our biggest goals, becoming an NDIS-registered organisation. But that milestone wasn’t the finish line; it was the beginning of a new chapter.
Over the past year, we’ve expanded our support streams, deepened our connections with our incredible support workers, and refined how we deliver care. It felt as though everything was aligning, our team, our mission, and our services, yet our old brand no longer reflected who we had become.
When SpiritAbility first began, we grew fast. We were focused on building, supporting, and showing up for our participants. There wasn’t much time to pause and define exactly who we were. Now, with the foundation we’ve built, we have the space to stop, reflect, and move forward with confidence. This rebrand is about honouring that growth and stepping boldly into the next phase of our journey.
SpiritAbility has always been about doing things differently. We’re a young, energetic team, led by a CEO and Managing Director who bring fresh ideas, surrounded by an equally passionate, youthful administration team. At just eight years old, we’re still a relatively new organisation in the sector, but one that’s never been afraid to challenge the norm.
Our previous branding felt safe, it helped us blend in rather than stand out. But that’s never really been who we are. The new colours, bold orange and vibrant pink, represent the energy, warmth, and heart that drive everything we do. They reflect our people, our passion, and our promise to make disability support feel alive, personal, and full of possibility.
This rebrand isn’t just a new logo or colour palette, it’s a reflection of our evolution. It represents a more connected, confident, and future-focused SpiritAbility. We’ve grown from a passionate start-up to a trusted, registered organisation that truly understands the needs of our participants and the spirit of our community.
Our new brand embodies that growth, it’s vibrant, it’s fresh, and it feels like us.
We hope our community feels the same sense of vibrancy, renewal, and excitement that we do. This rebrand is a revival, a celebration of where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. It’s a promise that we’ll continue to bring passion, creativity, and genuine connection into everything we do, for our participants, our staff, and our wider community.
Our rebrand represents vibrancy, passion, and energy, all dedicated to supporting inclusion and empowering people to live their best life.
The Meaning of the New Colours & Design
When it came time to choose our new brand colours, we didn’t want to make that decision in isolation. SpiritAbility is a community, so we involved our support workers, the heart of our organisation, in the process. We tested a few different colourways and asked our team how each one made them feel.
The combination of pink and orange kept standing out. Every time we looked at those colours together, there was an undeniable sense of joy; they made us smile. They felt warm, uplifting, and full of energy. When we took all the feedback back to the board, we realised we weren’t the only ones who felt it. That happiness, that spark, was something we wanted everyone, our participants, our workers, and our community to feel the moment they saw SpiritAbility.
For us, orange and pink aren’t just bright, eye-catching colours — they’re an expression of who we are.
- Orange represents warmth, enthusiasm, and passion — the drive that fuels everything we do.
- Pink brings compassion, care, and connection — the heart of how we support people every day.
Together, they perfectly capture our personality as a young, fun, and forward-thinking organisation that isn’t afraid to do things differently. These colours reflect our energy and our commitment to providing support that’s both professional and deeply human.
They also tie back to our core values: passion, dignity, and respect. While our look may have evolved, those values remain at the centre of everything we do, and now, they shine even brighter.
While we didn’t completely change our logo, we took the opportunity to refine it. Our original logo, featuring grass and a dandelion, was meaningful but a little complex. We wanted something simpler, clearer, and easier to recognise.
Now, our logo focuses on a clean, modern design of a hand and arm supporting the wheel of a wheelchair, a visual that speaks directly to what we do: supporting people. It’s simple but powerful, and it aligns beautifully with our new colours and direction.
When people see our new look, we want them to immediately feel a sense of trust, connection, and joy. We hope they see a brand that feels genuine and aligned with the passion, dignity, and respect we bring to our work.
Our colours should feel like an open invitation, welcoming, energetic, and full of life. We want our participants, staff, and community to look at SpiritAbility and think, “I know who they are. I trust them. They care.”
Because at its heart, that’s exactly who we are.
Our Story – Then and Now
SpiritAbility began in 2018, not from a grand business plan or corporate vision, but from something far more personal. It started with one person living with a disability who needed support. That was it. One person in need, one opportunity to make a difference.
From that single act of care, something special began to grow. Word spread, and soon more people reached out for help. We welcomed new support workers and participants, and before we knew it, SpiritAbility had become a community, built on compassion, connection, and a shared commitment to doing good.
In those early years, we grew quickly, and like many young organisations, we were learning as we went. We didn’t always have perfectly refined systems or well-defined processes. But what we did have was heart, flexibility, and the courage to adapt.
Our growth has been shaped by listening to our community, our participants, and our team. We’ve learned that no two people or experiences are the same, and that’s why we’ve never tried to fit into a cookie-cutter mould. SpiritAbility has always been about doing things differently, about being open to change, feedback, and continuous improvement.
We’ll be the first to admit we haven’t always been perfect. But every challenge has made us stronger, more grounded, and more aligned with our mission. The way we connect with our clients and our support workers today is a true reflection of that evolution, more intentional, more meaningful, and more sustainable than ever before.
Over the years, SpiritAbility has achieved many milestones, from becoming an NDIS-registered organisation to now supporting over 85 clients across multiple postcodes. Our referrals continue to grow, and so does our incredible team.
But some milestones mean more than numbers. For the first four and a half years of our business, SpiritAbility was a virtual organisation, we had no physical office, no real “home” for our staff or participants to feel connected to. That changed as we continued listening, learning, and adapting to what our community needed.
In 2023, we opened our very first physical space, a moment that represented connection, belonging, and growth. And in 2025, we took an even bigger step forward by opening our first commercial shopfront in the central business district of Orange. Now beautifully wrapped in our new orange and pink colours, the space radiates the energy and pride we feel as an organisation. It’s more than an office, it’s a symbol of how far we’ve come and the bright future ahead.
And of course, the stories within those walls continue to make us proud, like the staff who leave for new opportunities and later return because SpiritAbility still feels like home. Those moments remind us that we’re building more than a workplace; we’re building a family.
When we look back, what fills us with pride isn’t just how far we’ve come, but how we’ve done it. The NDIS landscape isn’t without its challenges, but through every obstacle, we’ve stayed true to our values, learning, reshaping, and doing whatever it takes to continue providing sustainable, person-centred support.
SpiritAbility was born out of the simple desire to help one person. Today, that same purpose continues to guide us, only now, it reaches dozens of lives and families across our community.
This rebrand is our way of honouring that journey, of acknowledging where we began, celebrating how far we’ve come, and stepping confidently into the next chapter of our story.
Looking Ahead – The Future of SpiritAbility
Our new branding gives us a clear, confident identity that truly reflects who we are today, and who we’re becoming. It’s not just a visual change; it’s a mindset shift. The bright, bold colours, the refreshed logo, and the energy behind it all remind us daily of what makes SpiritAbility special: our passion, our creativity, and our people.
This new look positions us to step forward with clarity and pride. It allows us to show up in our community as a modern, professional, and approachable organisation, one that stands out not just for what we do, but for how we do it. It gives our participants, support workers, and partners a stronger sense of connection and trust, while helping new people immediately recognise who we are and what we stand for.
The next chapter for SpiritAbility is all about growth, but not just in size. We want to continue building depth, connection, and sustainability in everything we do.
Our focus is on:
- Strengthening our community presence — now that we have our first commercial shopfront in Orange, we want it to become a true hub for connection, collaboration, and inclusion.
- Expanding our support streams to meet the evolving needs of participants and their families.
- Investing in our people — supporting our incredible team of support workers and administration staff with ongoing training, development, and recognition.
- Building partnerships within the local community and broader sector to create meaningful opportunities for participants to thrive.
We’re also focused on using our new brand identity to attract passionate, values-aligned people who want to be part of something bigger, people who share our drive to make a real difference.
At its heart, SpiritAbility has always been about empowerment, helping people live with dignity, independence, and joy. The rebrand amplifies that mission.
Our new identity is vibrant, inclusive, and unapologetically positive. It reflects the energy we bring to our work and the belief we hold that disability support should feel hopeful, human, and full of life. By refreshing our image, we’re breaking down barriers and showing that support services can be both professional and deeply personal.
It also strengthens the sense of belonging within our team and community, reminding everyone connected to SpiritAbility that they’re part of something evolving, innovative, and deeply committed to making a difference.
In 2025 and beyond, you’ll see a SpiritAbility that’s more connected, more visible, and more vibrant than ever before.
You’ll see our new colours and logo proudly displayed across our community, reflecting the passion that drives us. You’ll see us continue to innovate, introducing new programs, expanding services, and finding creative ways to meet the changing needs of participants. You’ll see a team that’s energised, proud, and always willing to listen, adapt, and grow.
Most importantly, you’ll feel the difference in the way we connect with our clients, the relationships we build, and the positivity we bring to every interaction. The rebrand is just the beginning of this next exciting phase, and we can’t wait to keep building it together with our community.
The People Behind the Change
The energy within our team since the rebrand has been nothing short of electric. Our administration team is proud, excited, and genuinely energised about what the future holds for SpiritAbility. There’s a shared sense of happiness and renewal, a feeling that this new identity truly represents who we are and where we’re going.
The colours have already started to become part of our daily lives in fun, creative ways. From matching phone cases to bright earrings and colourful splashes across the office, our team is embracing the orange and pink with joy. Perhaps our favourite touch so far has been the creation of our iconic friendship bracelets in our new brand colours, a playful symbol of unity, belonging, and the bond we share as a team.
It’s not just a rebrand for us, it’s a reflection of the joy we feel working together and the pride we have in what SpiritAbility stands for.
For me, personally, this rebrand is deeply emotional. I still have a “pinch me” moment every single day when I realise that I am the Managing Director of this incredible organisation. To be part of SpiritAbility’s evolution, to lead our team through change and see the passion and commitment behind it, is something that fills me with immense pride and excitement.
After achieving NDIS registration this year, which was a milestone of its own, this rebrand feels like the next natural step. It’s about bringing our external image in line with the heart of who we truly are. We’re not a corporate, clinical, or cold organisation. We’re warm, vibrant, real, and maybe a little cheeky at times! We love to have fun, to laugh, and to find joy in what we do. This rebrand captures all of that beautifully.
It represents passion, people, and possibility, everything SpiritAbility stands for.
Our participants have always been at the centre of everything we do, and this rebrand helps us strengthen that connection even further. When our team feels passionate and energised, that enthusiasm naturally flows through to our support workers, and from them, to the people we support.
The new colours, the energy, the confidence, they all create a ripple effect. It helps our participants and their families feel that same warmth, excitement, and positivity that we feel. It’s a reminder that we’re all part of one connected, caring community.
If we had to describe the SpiritAbility team after the rebrand, one word just doesn’t seem enough, but if we must, we’d say vibrant.
Because we are fresh, fun, inspiring, positive, and welcoming, all rolled into one. This rebrand has reignited our spirit, and it shows in everything we do.
A Final Word
As we launch this new chapter, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s been part of our journey, our participants, their families, our support workers, and our community. SpiritAbility exists because of you. Every story, every challenge, every success has shaped who we are today.
This rebrand isn’t just about new colours or a refreshed logo, it’s about celebrating growth, resilience, and connection. It’s a reflection of the people who make SpiritAbility what it is: passionate, caring, and full of life.
To our community, we want to say: thank you. Thank you for trusting us, for walking alongside us, and for believing in what we do. As we step into this vibrant new era, we’re more inspired than ever to keep showing up, with heart, with energy, and with the same commitment to inclusion, dignity, and respect that has guided us from day one.
This new chapter is about connection, and we’d love for you to be part of it. You can:

As we move forward, our promise is simple: to continue bringing vibrancy, passion, and energy to everything we do, and to keep empowering people to live their best lives, together.
“This rebrand isn’t just a change of colour, it’s a celebration of who we’ve become, the people we support, and the incredible community that makes SpiritAbility feel like home.”
