SpiritAbility 2025 Yearly Recap marks one of the most meaningful chapters for us. This year was filled with growth, connection, and empowering disability support services across the Central West. We strengthened our roots, expanded our reach, and deepened our commitment to accessible support for every ability.

It was a year that reflected joy, inclusion, and genuine community spirit. It also showcased why SpiritAbility continues to be one of the most trusted NDIS providers in Orange, Bathurst, and beyond.

Throughout this recap, we look back at our biggest moments. We also highlight the community that shaped them and the incredible team that brought every milestone to life.

A Year That Began With Community Connection

January set the tone for the year. Our Blayney disability pop-up welcomed locals with open arms. It reminded us why community connection matters. It also helped many people learn more about our disability support services and mental health awareness programs.

Shortly after, our team visited Bathurst. We stood proudly on Mount Panorama for a team photo. It was a fun moment that captured our energetic culture and our expansion into Bathurst. SpiritAbility.com.au now supports more people across the region, and this moment celebrated that growth.

We also planted deeper roots in the Bathurst area. Our message was simple. We are here to stay, we are here to support, and we are here to empower every person we meet.

Celebrating Local Voices and Real Experiences

Jason, one of our team members, continued to encourage accessible living. He created a guide to the best accessible coffee spots in Orange. His work supported people seeking inclusive community spaces. It also reinforced our mission to make everyday life easier for people with disability.

Easter, Joy, and Community Spirit

The SpiritAbility Easter Hunt brought families together. Kids laughed, hunted for eggs, and enjoyed meaningful moments with our support workers. Joy filled the day. It also reminded us why connection is at the heart of everything we do.

A Year of Events That Strengthened Inclusion

Community events shaped this year in powerful ways. Our SpiritAbility 2025 Yearly Recap would not be complete without acknowledging each one.

The Central West Disability Expo

This event showcased passionate providers and supportive organisations. It also encouraged visitors to explore new opportunities and connections.

Becoming a Sponsor of the Bathurst Winter Festival

This achievement was huge for us. The festival holds a special place in our community. Our involvement helped create a more inclusive event. It also introduced Accessibility Day, which became one of the year’s brightest highlights.

All Abilities Day

All Abilities Day was filled with colour, music, games, and laughter. It also featured superhero costumes, ice-skating, sensory activities, rides, and arts and crafts. The day created moments that many families will remember for years.

Supporting Mental Health With Heart

The Push-Up Challenge helped raise awareness of mental health. Our team completed push-ups and held conversations that truly mattered. Dave, one of our team members, completed his first push-up in years. His smile captured the spirit of the challenge.

SpiritAbility.com.au believes that mental health conversations must continue. We encouraged everyone to stay connected, check in, and support one another.

Celebrating Community Achievements and Milestones

Throughout the SpiritAbility 2025 Yearly Recap, we saw incredible moments of recognition.

Expanding Into Dubbo

This expansion meant everything to us. One of our long-standing participants moved to Dubbo. They invited us to continue supporting them. We proudly accepted. Our team also welcomed new staff in the Dubbo region. This milestone strengthened relationships and expanded our impact across NSW.

Sponsoring the Central West Disability Expo

We invited the community to the largest disability expo in the region. This event created countless opportunities for learning, connection, and empowerment.

People’s Choice Award Nomination

We were nominated as one of Orange’s Favourite Businesses. Our team’s reactions were priceless. The nomination reflected the bond we share with our community.

Accessible Transport for All

One of our biggest achievements was welcoming a modified accessible vehicle. This vehicle increased the freedom of people in the community. It also allowed us to offer safe and inclusive transport services across Orange and Bathurst.

Our team received hands-on training to ensure every transport interaction remained safe, comfortable, and empowering.

Investing in Training, Growth, and High-Quality Support

Training remained a key focus this year. Our team participated in in-house sessions to learn new ways to support clients with evolving needs.

We also celebrated graduates who completed their Certificate in Individual Support (Disability Stream). Their dedication and passion shone through. These achievements reflected their commitment to delivering exceptional disability support services.

Awards, Celebrations, and Local Recognition

Our admin team attended the Orange Business Awards. Although we did not win this year, we felt proud. Being finalists in four categories was an honour.

We were also major sponsors of the event. This involvement reflected our love for the Orange community and our commitment to supporting local businesses.

Strengthening Community Through Meaningful Gatherings

Our Community Spirit Lunch grew even larger this year. More clients attended, including some who travelled long distances to be there.

The lunch brought stories, connection, and laughter. It also showed why community belonging is vital.

We welcomed the children of our admin team during the school holidays. Teaching younger generations about inclusion shaped the meaning behind this gathering. It reminded us of the importance of kindness and acceptance.

Honouring Our Support Workers and Carers

During National Carers Week, we celebrated the people who make SpiritAbility.com.au extraordinary. Our support workers show courage, compassion, and dedication every day. They empower participants to live with joy, dignity, and confidence.

We honoured their work. Their impact reaches far beyond support. They change lives.

A Bright New Look: The SpiritAbility Rebrand

Knock knock. New colours, same heart.

This year marked a major rebrand for SpiritAbility. We introduced warm, vibrant colours that matched our spirit. The new look reflected joy, empowerment, and connection.

We also launched our Buddy Program. The program supports new team members and creates leadership pathways. It strengthens our team culture and enhances the quality of our disability support services.

Celebrating International Day of People with Disability

We honoured the theme: Empowering Voices, Driving Inclusion.

We celebrated team members Jase and Dave, who work in mainstream roles on full award wages. Their achievements reflected true inclusion. They demonstrated why meaningful employment matters.

SpiritAbility 2025 Yearly Recap: A Year of Growth, Joy, and Community

As we reached the end of the year, we celebrated Christmas with our community. Then we said goodbye to 2025 and welcomed 2026 with optimism.
